Department – Unit: Credit Acquisition

Responsibilities

The position is responsible for delivering underwriting function and rendering final judgment on card applications, including credit line management requests of existing customers. He/She is tasked to inspect / validate / assess the result of the previous credit processes such as Prescreening, Encoding, File-matching and Verification. He/she is responsible to arrive at a decision based on the current policies and guidelines, and acquire mastery of the credit policy. Furthermore, he/she will be the default Field Decisions Officers when there is a business need and expected to work closely with Card Sales Team during scheduled offsite visit to companies all over the Philippines and simultaneously perform frontend and backend credit processing of card applications. This role requires direct (face-to-face) customer interaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a college/university, preferably a graduate of Business course
• At least 2 years experience in the credit card business, particularly on credit decisions and underwriting; knowledge of end-to-end process of Acquisition is a must; exposure to portfolio management is an advantage
• Overall business of the company
• Good Oral & Written Communication Skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Intermediate
• Has broad understanding of the different segments of the credit card business and the capacity to relate unit’s operations and performance metrics to the overall business of the company
• Willing to work overtime on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and field work
