Department – Unit: Portfolio Risk

Responsibilities

The position is primary responsible for supporting the Head of Risk Management in the overall management of portfolio risk. The role’s priority is the development of polices and strategies for collections and portfolio management which includes authorizations, fraud, chargeback and other portfolio programs and strategies. The position has to manage risk levels consistent with business financial goals and identify strategies to achieve optimal portfolio profitability through policies and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably graduate of statistics or business course; units or master’s degree in statistics or business is an advantage
• At least 10 years of proven experience in credit cycles, credit risk, credit card portfolio management, collections, acquiring business and policy making
• At least 6 years in a managerial or senior management role
• Exposure in credit card operations or banking/financial institution is a must
• Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge on SAS is an advantage
